Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Minyak Kelapa Sawit di Indonesia
Abstract
Palm oil plantations in Indonesia increase rapidly in the last decade, reaching more than 16.8 million hectares in 2023. The development of palm oil industry in Indonesia involves many actors in the palm oil supply chain, including palm oil plantation companies and palm oil mills. Fluctuations in the price of palm oil and fresh fruit bunches influence the profits of companies and could affect the company's financial performance. The objective of this research is to analyze the financial performance of palm oil companies in Indonesia and the influence of the price of palm oil and fresh fruit bunches on the companies’ financial performance in Indonesia. This research uses financial ratio analysis and graphical analysis to answer the research objectives. The results show that the financial performance of palm oil companies in the 2013-2020 period tends to fluctuate. PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk is a company that has the best financial performance and PT Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk has the lowest financial performance in terms of liquidity ratios, solvency ratios, activity ratios and profitability ratios. the price of palm oil and fresh fruit bunches always fluctuate throughout the year, but the overall price fluctuations are not a determining factor in the financial performance of palm oil companies
